About Dustin N0DRC
Keeping Ham Radio Alive!

Hello I am Dustin Cox, N0DRC.  I was licensed as a Amateur Radio Operator on March 29, 2007 with my original call being KE5NKG assigned by the FCC. After having that call for a while I decided to shorten up my call and make it more personal by making the last 3 letters of the call sign my initials.

I have made over 100 contacts since I became a ham operator. I started out using 2 meters and Echolink to make all my contacts until I got a 70cm  hand held radio then I got on 70cm and worked some more stations. I am the trustee for the club call KE5RPV which is for the Amateur Radio Youth Assn.

I joined the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) in 2008. Below is my personal story I sure hope you can take the time to read it. Thanks for stopping by.

Some of you may know me, I am a bull rider and have been riding for many years. In 2005 I was the Grand Champion Bull Rider in Bernalillo County New Mexico. Since then I have went on to compete at the Amateur Pro level. I am not riding for my own glory I am Riding for the Brand, the brand of Jesus Christ. When I was 5 years old I was doing mutton busting. Well for you city type thats riding sheep.

Well I fell off my first one and hit my head really hard on a big fence post and had to go to the hospital, my grandmother call the pastor of her church to come in and visit me and pray for me. Well when he came in he also lead me in the sinners prayer and that day I gave my life to Jesus Christ.

Ever since then I have been riding in honor of our Lord Jesus. Its only by his grace I have not been hurt to badly so far. I am still riding for our Lord today but now I have an even bigger job than before which was to just ride, now I serve God by teaching his word at most of the rodeos I go to, so that just maybe I am the light that some cowboy or cowgirl has been looking for.

Thanks for visiting my page and if you have a questions please feel free to ask me and may God richly bless you and your family. God Bless!
